The Marimekko Standardi Unikko Blouse has an oversized, straight fit, and it features the Piirto Unikko pattern. The shirt has a pointed collar, a concealed button closure, and loose, elbow-length sleeves with narrow cuffs. There is a yoke seam and a pleat in the back, and the hem has a curved cut and side slits.
The cotton used in this product is organic cotton.
Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964, in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
